Senior engineers, in-house, the whole way.
We are an IT infrastructure firm. We build IT to a standard we would put our name to, then run it that way. Brands across the UK, the USA, Canada and the UAE trust us with business-critical systems, regulated and otherwise, from the small and mighty to the big and bold. Whether your environment is undocumented and disorganised or already working well, we bring it up to that standard and write down how it runs as we go.
What we do.
We design, secure and run the infrastructure businesses depend on. Windows Server and the Microsoft platform. Identity, so who can reach what is pinned down and provable. Security and hardening to CIS. Resilience and backups we have watched come back. The network and the cloud, and the policies that keep all of it governed. We lead the big moves too: migrations, server and data-centre work, mergers and carve-outs. And we make AI tools business-ready, compliant and under control, rather than switched on and left to run unmanaged.
Our own engineers do the work, and we never outsource it. The decisions that need real judgement are made by people who have made them before, on setups as large and as awkward as yours. The documentation is written so the next engineer can follow it without help, because we record it as we go rather than reconstruct it afterwards.
None of it is a tick-box rollout. We map the business properly first: where the weak points are, who can reach what, where the money goes, and where it could be better. We work to the standard regulated clients demand, and we hold every client to it. We have built and run demanding environments ourselves, so we know what a good outcome looks like in practice.
We take over large, undocumented environments with no processes and no roadmap and bring them up to that same standard. And we build our own software to do it. We invest in our own tooling where it earns its place. We do not white-label anyone else's service as our own; the vendor products we supply are sold as exactly what they are.
How we work, and why it lasts.
Senior engineers, in-house.
You get people who have built and run setups like yours before. We do not route your first call to a junior and escalate from there. The senior engineers who plan your work stay on it to the end.
Built bespoke, never to a template.
We map your business before we touch a server: the weak points, the access nobody can account for, where the IT spend goes, how the departments actually run. The design fits the company in front of us, not an onboarding checklist.
Evidence an auditor can use.
For regulated work, the requirements are met with proof you can hand straight to an auditor. We know DPA and GDPR, FCA and PRA, HIPAA and their equivalents abroad, so a review is straightforward rather than a search for records that were never kept.
A standard we'd put our name to.
We routinely take over undocumented messes with no processes and no roadmap and turn them into something sound. We build to the standard we would want for our own systems, and we hold every engagement to it.
We build our own software.
Years of working with the leading tools showed us where they fall short, so we built our own. Tallin runs how we work: service management for procedures, change control, asset mapping and SLAs. Bridge is our own helpdesk, and it carries enterprise ticket volume more efficiently than the tool most of the industry runs on, with a higher satisfaction score. Control handles VPN access. And CADEX records every change on video, down to a single power-setting tweak, for the businesses that cannot miss a thing.
Cardiff-based, remote-first, working worldwide.
We run from a base in Cardiff and our own small datacentre there, and we work with you remotely. That is how we serve brands across borders and time zones without either getting in the way. Well-run infrastructure does not require us on site, and working remotely gives us better visibility and a faster response.
When a job genuinely needs hands on hardware, we arrange a vetted on-site visit: the engineer is checked properly, the work is supervised and audited, and it is guaranteed and fully insured.
The work speaks plainer than we can.
Factor1 is the cybersecurity arm of the Centraline Group.
We build to a high security standard as a matter of course, and Factor1 is where that goes furthest: the security reviews, hardening and testing that prove a system is secure rather than assumed to be. It is part of the Centraline Group, integrated with the engineering side rather than a separate firm, so the people securing your systems and the people running them are the same team.
Common questions about the firm.
Start a conversation.
Tell us what you are running, including the areas you are unsure about and anything that was never documented. The first call is about the work, not a sales pitch, and you will come away with a clear view of where we would start and what a good outcome would look like for you.
